my creative process isn't linear.

 

it's intuitive. deeply felt.

 

i'm more interested in photographing how something felt rather than just what happened.

 

the frenetic energy of a kick drum. a bass string rattling against an amp. light refracting through a mirrorball. the buzzing electricity that lingers in your bones long after the house lights come up.

live shows are living, breathing moments that disappear almost as quickly as they arrive. my work aims to preserve the intimacy, electricity, and beautiful imperfections that exist between the first note and the last through an old-school approach to image making, pairing digital + film cameras with a vintage eye.

 

i believe in capturing movement and emotion through grit, grain, and blur. i'm drawn to the invisible lifeline between artist and audience— the synchronization that comes alive in the pocket of time we all get to be together. 

 

i photograph live music because it's one of the few places left where people allow themselves to feel something loud that is waiting and demanding to be felt. the moments between songs. the sweat before the lights come up. a crowd scream-singing every word. it's in those in-between seconds that performance bleeds into presence.
